Forza Horizon 6 Barn Find Locations

2026-06-07

Forza Horizon 6 has 15 Barn Finds scattered across the Japan map — abandoned classics that you restore and keep for free. Most are rare Japanese icons (Nissans, Mazdas and Hondas) plus a few legendary race cars like the Mazda 787B Le Mans winner and the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 rally weapon.

Unlike Treasure Cars, Barn Finds don't all appear at once. You unlock them gradually as you explore Japan, and each one starts with a Barn Find Rumor that circles a rough area on the map rather than dropping an exact pin.

New to the game? Read the Beginner's Guide first for car classes and credits, and see the Treasure Car Locations guide for the other free collectible cars.

How Barn Finds Work

  • Raise your Discover Japan stamp to reveal barns. Barns are tied to your Explorer / Discover Japan rating, which climbs through 7 tiers: Yellow → Green → Blue → Pink → Orange → Purple → Gold. Each new tier reveals more barns on the map.
  • Get a Barn Find Rumor. A rumor from Mei Hasegawa or Yuji Kono highlights a circled search area with the barn icon. Drive into that circle and look around to discover the barn.
  • Restore the car. Once you find the barn, the car is sent to your garage for restoration. You can pay Credits to speed it up, or just keep playing — you'll be notified when it's ready and the car unlocks when you return to the garage.
  • Keepers only. Barn Finds carry the Barn Find rarity. They cannot be sold in the Auction House and can't be deleted from your garage.
  • Tip: If a rumor circle is large, slow down and listen — the barn is usually tucked behind a building, under a structure, or down a side track inside the highlighted region.
